Coronavirus: Looking after your dental health in these uncertain times.
An updated message from Dr Kal Gill, Principal Dentist at Grosvenor Dental Practice.
We are pleased to announce the phased return to practise from 8th June. We recently welcomed an announcement from our Chief Dental Officer to begin the phase of reopening our practice – news that we’ve been waiting for since we went into lockdown.
We are incredibly pleased and excited to have been given the green light to start seeing our patients again after a long 12-week restriction to our services.
The team has been working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure that we are able to follow the latest guidance and we will only be reopening when we are satisfied that we have all the necessary processes, procedures and personal protective equipment in place to ensure your safety.
However, we must stress that it will not be business as usual straight away. There will be many changes in the way we need to work, and it may still be a little while before we can recommence routine dentistry.
So, on a phased return, we can begin treating and caring for you, our lovely patients again! As mentioned, we hope to start our return on the 8th June under the new “normal”.
In the immediate term, please bear with us as we prioritise those patients who have been needing urgent care over the last 2 months and have been experiencing acute dental pain. We will be contacting our list of urgent patients as soon as possible and will also continue to triage any patients in need of our immediate service and schedule an appointment for you.
Thereafter we will be contacting patients to re-establish their regular routine appointments – we have a record of all appointments that have been cancelled because of the lockdown. We will be in touch to arrange appointments, and we ask that you do not call the practice yet to try and make an appointment.
We are still available for advice and in case of emergencies. If you have a dental problem, please contact us on 01782 848708.
For non-urgent queries, or to leave us your email address, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and bearing with us while we work through all we have to do to ensure the safety of staff and visitors to the practice.
